The staff was cute, making me feel right at home, and the location couldn't be better, just a short walk to Michigan Beach Park and the famous World's Largest Cherry Pie.

Had the a double room which was immaculate with 2 beds. Exceptionally nice location to the lakeside, we really enjoyed it.

Beautiful building and reasonably spacious and perfectly clean rooms with 2 beds. Nice hot and delicious breakfast with a lot of choices. Absolutely perfect location very close to the ferry to Beaver Island and downtown restaurants and shops and restaurants downtown and '' downtown '' Charlevoix.

The proximity to downtown Charlevoix, just a short walk to all the local attractions. The breakfast was a real treat, featuring fresh fruits and a fantastic egg dish that set a great tone for the day. I also appreciated the cozy vibe of the room, though I wished for a bit more comfort in the bedding. It was nice to have a clean space to unwind after a day of exploring.

A warm welcome and amazing breakfast

Waking up to the aroma of homemade dishes was a delight. Our host, Terri, set a cozy atmosphere, always checking in with care.

Unfortunately, our mini-fridge couldn't keep things cool for us. It seemed to have a power issue so we had to manage our drinks differently.

The hostess was wonderful, providing delicious breakfasts. The bed felt worn, with a dip in the middle.

Room could use better bedding.

Ask for the breakfast schedule in advance, as they offer an early option that caters to runners and outdoor enthusiasts.

My children wished for more space for play.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from downtown, with access to local attractions. Breakfasts were a highlight, with delicious options including fresh fruit, quiche, and a standout French toast casserole. The refrigerator was not sufficiently cold for keeping beverages chilled. While the shared dining experience added a nice touch, the seating arrangements were quite tight was great. These issues were minor compared to the warmth and hospitality provided by the host.

House, the northside bed & breakfast is such a gem! Terri and her staff treat you like family. The lighthouse room was cozy with super comfy bedding. Plus, it's just a quick walk from downtown. The breakfast for runners at 5 am was a fantastic touch, and the coffee was some of the best i've had!

the northside was a hidden gem in charlevoix! the hostess was a true standout, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay. the charming 1800's house with modern comforts and fantastic breakfast made for a memorable holiday experience.

The hotel boasts a quirky charm and excellent service. Its magnificent lakeside location is a major highlight, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast features a delightful variety of appetizing meals. Additionally, it's conveniently situated near downtown, the beach, the ferry to Beaver Island, and plenty of shops and eateries. We also enjoyed a lovely supper with drinks at the nearby Bridge Street Tap Room.
